Governing body TAKE NOTE! Part three!
Just as the days of Noah were, so too, the “presence” of the son of man will be. JW’s make a great play on words here, they insist it does not mean “coming” (when he will be seen) but, his “presence” (here, but not seen).
Matthew describes those days BEFORE the flood, possibly covering the 120 years he placed upon the people and for the building of the ark. (Matthew chapter 24v37) By using the days of Noah as an example, it is more than likely our lord’s presence will also be here during the building of the city, from 1519-49years to restore-1568-434years to build-2001, inclusive. Daniel chapter 9v24-27 says: ~ 25 Know therefore and understand that from the going forth of the word to restore and build Jerusalem to the coming of an anointed one, a prince, there shall be seven weeks. Then for sixty-two weeks it shall be built again with squares and moat, but in a troubled time. Thus indicating that our lord will be here AFTER the building of the city and BEFORE the end of the 490 years.
The ark in the days of Noah was completed in those 120 years, then Noah was instructed to gather the animals and take them into the ark along with all the food they would need. Lastly he was instructed to take his family into the ark and all the food supplies they would need, this was classed as the “harvest of the world” and in keeping with the other harvests later, it might have lasted for 3 ½ years to gather all these supplies together and enter into the ark, then our lord closed the outer door to keep them safe.
In a parallel to the days of Noah.
In 1881 Charles Russell was guided to test John chapter 4v35 where is says: ~ “I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see how the fields are already white for harvest. He who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, so that sower and reaper may rejoice together. For here the saying holds true, ‘One sows and another reaps.’ I sent you to reap that for which you did not labour; others have laboured, and you have entered into their labour.” RSV.
In 1881 he sent out delegates to England and Ireland to test the harvest. It proved ripe for the harvest.
He also knew Zechariah’s first two chapter’s show, Zion will be built up with no boundary Walls and it will be built up as villages because the people will be many, thus showing the spiritual city of Zion will be a world-wide city belonging to God.
A new spiritual city needed to be built up for the gathering together of all the remaining kingdom sheep for the return of our lord, just as Noah collected all the animals to be saved. Charles Russell accepted this challenge.
By this time, also, Charles Russell was reminded of the “wise men” that was guided to Jerusalem in search of the messiah by following the star which was a sign for them that the messiah had been born, and reading in Isaiah chapter 11v10-13 he learned that God would provide an “ensign” like that star to guide ones to Zion. An ensign can be a flag to show a country’s identity, but this ensign placed by our lord would have to draw ones to Zion so it would have to be a sign-post as it were to ZION.
This ensign was set up to guide people to Zion, spiritual Jerusalem in search of the messiah. To gather all the dispersed grand-daughters of Zion who were outside in the darkness of the nations. ( In the 1st century Jesus addressed them as “daughters of Jerusalem”) They will see the light from Zion’s Tower inside the city and be guided to follow it just as the “wise men” did in search of the messiah.
After the messiah revealed himself to John at his baptism, the harvest of the daughters of Jerusalem took place which lasted 3 ½ years according to Daniel chapter 9v24-27, the remaining 3 ½ years was to harvest Samaria, before opening the blessing out to the Gentiles. This was the harvest of Israel.
So too, in the last days, after the building of Zion was complete in 2001, the messiah revealed himself to the kingdom seed. It was now time for the harvest of the grand-daughters of spiritual Zion to be harvested, again, lasting 3 ½ years, beginning in 2002- halfway through-2005. They were removed from the city of apostate Jerusalem and then the harvest of spiritual Samaria takes place. (Those that broke away from Zion when Joseph Rutherford took over the city)
Once they have all been removed from the apostate city in 2005 the city will no longer belong to God as his people and the city will be handed over to the nations once again to await their destruction as the “Harlot Babylon the Great”.
There is a great deal more to “the days of Noah” and also to the days of Sodom which too is mentioned in Luke chapter 17v26 “As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of man. They ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise as it was in the days of Lot—they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built, but on the day when Lot went out from Sodom fire and sulphur rained from heaven and destroyed them all— so will it be on the day when the Son of man is revealed. On that day, let him who is on the housetop, with his goods in the house, not come down to take them away; and likewise let him who is in the field not turn back. Remember Lot’s wife.
Lot’s wife was safely INSIDE Zo’ar, but she tried to go back to Sodom without telling her husband, maybe to get something, hence behind his back, and left the place of safety, putting her life in danger. Genesis chapter 19v21 “He said to him, “Behold, I grant you this favour also, that I will not overthrow the city of which you have spoken. Make haste, escape there; for I can do nothing till you arrive there.” Therefore the name of the city was called Zo′ar. The sun had risen on the earth when Lot came to Zo′ar”. This is a very important lesson for anyone returning to the city.
The true kingdom seed, heirs with Jesus, will be taught in their hearts. Jeremiah 31v31-34, John chapter 6v45, Hebrews chapter 8v11 and Isaiah chapter 54v13, just to mention a few references. No longer will they be taught by man ever again. They have been taken and placed safely inside the spiritual ark of Zion and their Lord has closed and locked the door, and just as Noah took plenty of food inside with them, so too, the kingdom seed will have plenty of true kingdom food to sustain them until they are freed to meet up with their husbandly owner Jesus Christ.
Sadly all those who profess to be of the kingdom seed too, such as the governing body, will come for Jesus to open the door to them as Matthew chapter 7v21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me you evildoers.” RSV
Also Luke chapter 13v24 “Strive to enter by the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. When once the householder has risen up and shut the door, you will begin to stand outside and to knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, open to us.’ He will answer you, ‘I do not know where you come from.’ Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.’ But he will say, ‘I tell you, I do not know where you come from; depart from me, all you workers of iniquity!’
God’s word is like a giant jigsaw puzzle and each piece will interlock exactly if they are fitted correctly to show the larger picture.
